"I underwent the Coaching Certification offered by Hagakure. The coaching competencies were worthwhile in my different roles as a leader, a senior manager, a medical doctor and as a colleague. From the outset, it was clear that coaching is not mentorship, not therapy and not a consultancy. Now I know how to be an empathetic listener, I know how to ask powerful questions – and to avoid asking “why?” I know how to identify limiting beliefs, values and have learnt new concepts like the Pygmalion effect and how to apply them in the real world. The newly acquired skills enable me to guide, support and develop my team members to reach their full potential."

"The experience I just had with the Hagakure Coaching Programme is unique. Firstly, I realized that I was a chronic "dictator" manager who, thinking was helping, was actually spending the time dictating to colleagues what they should do and what they shouldn’t. Secondly, at the beginning of the programme, I didn't think I would make it at all, partly because of my daily workload and partly because of my apprehension about online training. Fortunately, just like a Philharmonic Orchestra’s conductor, Laura, in perfect harmony with the other facilitators, used her magic wand and passion to turn me into a coach, the true coach and the good manager I should have been for decades!
Thank you, Laura. Thank you to all the Hagakure team!"

"After years of trying to solve problems for people, I have come out of the course with a clear understanding that it’s more effective to work with a colleague, friend or family member helping them to work out their own solutions and identify their own resources to implement them. I am seeing a transformation in my relationships. Of course, I have a lot more to do to gain the skills needed to help clients get to the root of challenges. I have taken the first step and really hope to continue.
This is a training that I would recommend for all my colleagues! "

"When I started the virtual training in coaching for transformation, my confidence level was very low. I have never attended an online course before and given my occupation as Minister of Health,I was afraid of not completing the course. I am now amazed to see that I have been able to fulfill all the training requirements and succeed the final exam. Moreover, the course has transformed me both at personnel and professional levels. My coaching mindset is visible to all my colleagues. Two things stand as the major success factors of the online coaching training: community and faculties that are highly competent experienced and dedicated."

As a senior manager I struggled to stay away from jumping directly into an advisory role or just mentoring. The Hagakure coaching programme with Laura and the team led me through this learning journey of attentive listening and asking questions… was it difficult?.. YES! Did I have to go out of my comfort zone?YES… did I learn a lot ? YES and the journey has just begun. But I am ready to hone my skills and keep looking at the tools I received during my coaching journey. It’s all up to me now. "

My coaching process with Laura, whom I really appreciate and admire, was a very important change in my life, I was a Viking, very very Viking, even under certain circumstances, a dysfunctional Viking. The process helped me to identify, accept and modify those behaviors that affected me, and therefore impacted the organization. I definitely think that I am now a better human being. Thanks, Laura."

From the first meeting we had with the Hagakure team I realized that they had different things to offer us. I really liked their spontaneity and at the same time their passion for work from a humane point of view. During the "Diploma in the development of competencies for Hitachi leaders" I was able to confirmed this: these leadership sessions with Hagakure are not just "another'' leadership course. The Hagakure team is very professional. They helped us in a practical and direct way identify tools ranging from the emotional intelligence to the strategic thinking and planning. Personally, I can say that we were very pleased with their work and undoubtedly will return to design another project with them in the future.

Each coaching session in which I was able to get to know many of my inner voices from coaching with the Inner Team voices was enjoyable and fun; I must also admit that some voices were a “mugging in the open” as my grandmother used to say.
.I discovered and understood more about myself in this process than in many years of therapy, with a quarter of the tears, twice the laughter and achieving peace by integrating all my voices and assuming myself as owner of all and slave of none. The permanent benefits I received were: my capacity for self-observation and self-management, and the freedom that comes from learning to be who I am instead of seeking to be like someone else.”
